Accounting
Accounting provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand, analyze, and communicate financial information in a wide range of organizational settings. Our Accounting program offers courses in Canadian Accounting, Audit and Taxation to prepare students for employment in the Accounting field. All required courses are provided for students interested in pursuing the Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation.
Students that complete their module in accounting may be eligible for the Graduate Diploma in Accounting program. The program is accredited by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) and enables successful students to obtain advanced standing in the first four modules of the CPA PEP.
Enrollment in the Accounting Honours Specialization and Honours Double Major modules is competitive; meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee acceptance into these programs. Students interested in pursuing an Accounting module are encouraged to consult with a DAN Management academic advisor to explore program options, review admission requirements, and determine the pathway that best aligns with their academic and career goals.
