Discover DAN Accounting

Over 300 first year students from the DAN Department of Management and Organizational Studies participated in Discover DAN Accounting on September 17, 2022. The event, sponsored by CPA Ontario and the Western Accounting Association, introduced first year students to everything DAN Management Accounting has to offer, including internships, international experiences, and exciting career opportunities!
Students learned about various career paths in accounting from an impressive line-up of guest speakers, including CPA Ontario Emerging Leader and DAN Graduate, Jefferson Huang. Students also learned about careers in forensic & fraud investigation from Tyler Reavell of KPMG and entrepreneurship from Sheree Stuart, owner of Sheree Stuart Design, an award-winning Interior Design Firm.
Students had exclusive access to network with top employers including the Big 4, industry CPAs and former DAN students who shared their experiences.
