Dr Anup Basnet joined DAN Department of Management and Organizational Studies as an Assistant Professor in Finance in 2024. Previously he worked as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at the Surrey Business School, University of Surrey, UK since 2021. During his stay at Surrey, he was also a second-year program leader for the BSc Accounting and Finance program, and also acted as an Academic Integrity Officer. He completed his PhD in Business Administration (Finance) from Concordia University, Canada. He has teaching and research interests in the areas of corporate finance.
