Dr. Yini Liu is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the DAN Department of Management and Organizational Studies at the University of Western Ontario since 2020. Professor Liu achieved her Ph.D. degree in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio, United States. Professor Liu’s primary research field is empirical corporate finance with a focus on private equity offerings, seasoned equity offerings and IPOs, and entrepreneurial finance. Her other research areas include law and finance, and labor economics. She achieved UTSA Keith Fairchild Teaching Award and College of Business PhD Excellence Award in 2019. Professor Liu currently teaches MOS 3311 Advanced Corporate Finance.
