Professional Designation for Human Resources Professionals
The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) certifications were established to safeguard the public interest and indicate to clients and employers that a person possesses the necessary skills and expertise to thrive in the field of Human Resources.
There are two different types of designations you can obtain:
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), more information on HRPA website page.
- Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), more information on HRPA website page.
In order to obtain the designation, there are courses to be completed and exams to be passed for each designation.
- Courses should meet the grade requirement in order to be eligible to write either the CHRP Knowledge Exam (CHRP-KE) or the CHRL Knowledge Exam (CHRL-KE), depending on which designation you are pursuing.
- The nine required courses that should be completed in the last 10 years are:
