After first year, students may apply for admission upon completion of 5.0 first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 73% on, and no grade less than 60% in, the following 3.0 principal courses:
- 1.0 course: MOS 1021A/B and 1023A/B
- 1.0 course from: Calculus 1000A/B*, 1301A/B, 1500A/B, 1501A/B; Mathematics 1225A/B,1228A/B, 1229A/B, 1600A/B
- 1.0 course: numbered 1000-1999*
*(Economics 1021A/B and 1022A/B will be counted towards the Admission Requirements in lieu of 1.0 course numbered 1000-1999 for the Honors Specialization in Finance for MOS;
*MOS 1022F/G & 0.5 course numbered 1000-1999 will be counted towards the Admission Requirements in lieu of 1.0 course numbered 1000-1999 for the Honors Specialization in Commercial Aviation Management.)
Students who fail to meet these admission requirements may be eligible to apply to a BMOS Specialization or to another program.
Note: *Students admitted without Calculus should be aware that to enroll in certain courses/modules they may be required to take Mathematics 0110A/B. When considering a course/module in another discipline, please check the Mathematics requirement(s). Students are responsible for ensuring they have completed the Mathematics and other entry requirements and prerequisites of the modules/courses they wish to take.
Note: Affiliated College Students wishing to transfer to Main Campus must receive 70% cumulative on 5.0 courses in addition to the above.
After second year, students applying for admission to a BMOS HONORS SPECIALIZATION must have
- achieved an average of at least 73% on the last 5.0 courses;
- an average of 73% on the 3.0 first year principle courses required for the module;
- maintained a cumulative modular average of 70%;
- obtained a minimum grade of 60% in each course required for the module;
- obtained a passing grade in each elective course;
- a minimum cumulative average of 65%*.
Note: * Affiliated College students wishing to transfer must have a minimum cumulative average of 70%.
To progress, students must have
- maintained a cumulative modular average of 70%;
- obtained a minimum grade of 60% in each course required for the module;
- obtained a passing grade in each elective course;
- maintained a cumulative average of 65%
To graduate, students must achieve a minimum cumulative modular average of 70% with a minimum mark of 60% in each course, obtain a passing grade in each elective course, and maintain a minimum overall average of 65% on the 20.0 courses counted towards the Degree.
